    Michael Thimons

    Dr. Michael Thimons is an optometrist in Niles providing complete eye care services for the surrounding communities.

    Background

    As a licensed optometrist, Dr. Thimons provides exams, diagnoses, and treatments of all disorders that affect the eye or vision. Dr. Thimons is trained to recognize a range of health issues; such as glaucoma, cataracts. macular degeneration, and diabetic eye disease. He graduated from The Ohio State College of Optometry with highest honors in 2003. Dr. Thimons feels that it is important to take time to listen to his patients. He takes pride in working hard and being honest for his patients.

    Dr. Burick is a graduate of New Brighton Area High School and continued her education at Saint Vincent College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Dr. Burick graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2013 and was awarded the Donald H. Evans Award which is presented annually to only one student in recognition of outstanding service to the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, the visual welfare of the public and the community. She practices the treatment of ocular conditions such as glaucoma and macular degeneration, as well as, diabetic evaluations, surgical co-management, contact lenses, and a special interest in pediatrics and dry eye.   Dr. Burick resides in New Brighton with her husband, Harry, and lovable dogs, Jase and Jemma.  She spends her free time working with her church, local volunteer fire department, and health and fitness coaching.
